Dahlias on Quy Water

Description

A visit to Anglesey Abbey, Lode, Cambridge is a pleasure at any time. The Dahlia Festival in Autumn is particularly special. Some of the dahlia heads are put in Quy Water by the gardeners. I love the sense of being lost in a sea of water, flowers and reflections in this photo. It is a kind of photographic emulation of Monet’s ‘Water Lily’ paintings. The canvas print is sold in a matt black frame.
